For the launch of it’s second fragrance, Acqua di Fiori, Gucci has commissioned 15 female artists to create original artworks around the idea of coming of age, female friendships, and the metamorphosis of girl to woman as part of a social media campaign. Among the 15 creatives is Nour Flayhan, a Lebanese illustrator who grew up in Kuwait(but now lives in London). Flayhan, who is known for colorful sketches of women often accompanied by text and poetry, dreamed up four illustrations for Gucci, which are currently being showcased on the Italian maison’s Instagram account.
Flayhan’s artwork incorporates the delicate pink bottle, the green Herbarium print packaging, and the fragrance’s ingredients of Cassis buds and Galbanum accompanied by prose like “Together we rise from the waters, together we bloom, together we make the most beautiful fields of flowers.”
